10.  Posting artikel di web jejaring sosial kawasan Asia atau forum-forum. Beberapa webmaster telah menyarankan bahwa pengguna web dari Asia Timur adalah penggemar berat toolbar Alexa, menilai dari hadirnya beberapa website dari Asia yang muncul di Alexa Top 500. Saya menyarankan mencoba hal ini jika anda memiliki kapasitas untuk melakukannya.

11.  Ciptaan sebuah bagian webmaster tool di dalam website anda. Hal ini merupakan sebuah magnet untuk webmaster yang akan sering mengunjungi web anda untuk mendapatkan akses ke tool itu. misal tool itu meta tag analisis, atau cek pagerank dll.

12.  Dapatkan pengunjung yang menyebar artikel anda ke Digg atau Stumbled maupun Facebook dan Twitter. Biasanya hal ini akan membawa banyak pengunjung ke web anda dan jumlah yang meningkat tajam itu akan menimbulkan dampak positif untuk rangking Alexa anda. Secara alami, anda perlu mengembangkan artikel yang layak untuk dilink.

13.  Lakukanlah  promosi dengan memanfatkan iklan Pay Per Click. Beli spot iklan di search engine seperti Google atau Exact Seek akan menolong anda memperoleh sejumlah pengunjung. Dua kali lipat menguntungkan anda bila iklan anda sangat relevan untuk webmaster. atau silakan klik disini untuk cara promosi yang baik

14.  Buat sebuah kategori mengenai Alexa di dalam blog anda dan gunakan itu sebagai kategori saat anda menulis artikel atau berita apapun mengenai Alexa. Walaupun sebenarnya saya tidak menerapkan ini hehehe tapi yang penting arahkanlah pengunjung anda untuk lebih mudah mengakses informasi mengenai Alexa

15.  Optimalkan posting populer anda. Anda memiliki posting populer yang secara teratur mendapatkan traffic dari search engine? Masukkan sebuah widget /graphic di bawah posting itu, link ke posting mengenai Alexa yang anda buat atau gunakan redirection dari Alexa di dalam URL internal anda.

16.  Pasang Iklan banner dan link untuk mendapatkan pengunjung dari forum webmaster dan situs-situs. Iklan yang menyolok dan bagus akan menarik banyak pengunjung ke situs anda, yang bisa secara signifikan menaikkan rangking anda.

17.  Sewa editor grafis untuk mendandani web anda. Cara lain beli tanda tangan di sebuah forum web atau promosikan artikel tertentu atau materi tertentu di situs anda secara teratur. Anda bisa dengan mudah menemukan editor grafis untuk disewa di Digital Point dan forum webmaster lain. tujuannya agar memaksimalkan kekuatan tersembunyi dari situs anda

18.   Ini cara yang tidak saya gunakan, Bayar pemilik Warnet untuk menginstall toolbar Alexa dan memasang situs anda sebagai homepage untuk semua komputer mereka. Hal ini mungkin sulit untuk dinego dan sebuah solusi yang tidak benar-benar berhasil untuk kebanyakan orang. Tetapi beberapa orang mengatakan bahwa hal ini berhasil. ( tapi bisa menjadi inspirasi buat anda. saya mengakalinya dengan mencoba ngelamar magangdi warnet. Silakan kamu ngelamar kerja ke warnet deh, selain bisa ngenet gratis, kamu juga bisa lebih leluasa mengubah homepagenya hihihi)

19.  Gunakan MySpace. Hal ini agak curang dan saya sangat tidak merekomendasikannya kecuali jika anda benar-benar tertarik untuk memanipulasi rangkin Alexa anda. Gunakan gambar yang menarik secara visual atau banner dan link gambar itu ke URL anda yang sudah diredirected ke Alexa. Hal ini efektif jika web anda memiliki konten yang sangat relevan dengan pengguna MySpace.

20.  Coba Alexa auto surf. Apakah mereka bekerja ? Mungkin untuk situs yang benar-benar baru. Saya pikir mereka akan sangat sesuai untuk situs baru yang sangat miskin rangking Alexa. Ingat bahwa akan ada masalah saat anda mencoba menggunakan auto surf bersamaan dengan iklan kontekstual seperti Adsense. Dan cara ini juga bukan solusi jangka panjang untuk meningkatkan rangking Alexa anda jadi saya sarankan anda berhati-hati dengan cara ini.

Perbandingan Blogwalking Dengan Search Engine. Manakah yang lebih baik? Oke sobat my information hari saya mencoba menuliskan sebuah ide yang mungkin sedikit nyeleneh. Namun sebelumnya disini saya mengingatkan tujuan saya menulis ini bukan untuk mencari mana yang lebih baik antara pengunjung yang datang dari blogwalking atau search engine dalam meningkatkan trafik alexa blog kita.

Istilah Blogwalking di terjemahkan sebagai jalan-jalan dan saling mengunjungi. dari kedua pengertian tersebut dapat kita terjemahkan sebagai berikut : "yaitu sebuah aktivitas dimana para blogger meninggalkan link di  blog atau situs orang lain seraya memberikan sebuah komentar". 

Dari pengertian di atas dapat kita ambil kesimpulan, bahwa tujuan utama blogwalking adalah berharap untuk mendapatkan kunjungan balik dari si Admin blog tersebut menuju blog kita. Dengan begitu jumlah trafik/pengunjung yang hinggap ke situskita bertambah banyak.

Istilah Search Engine / Mesin Pencari, 

Seperti yang kita tau, internet adalah gudangnya informasi, mulai dari hal-hal yang kecil sampai pada hal-hal yang diluar pikiran kita semuanya ada diinternet.  Tinggal bagaimana caranya kita memanfaatkannya. Dalam kasus ini kita sering menemui beberapa orang yang mempertahankan tradisi blogwalking sampai mungkin ada banyak orang yang meluangkan waktunya hanya sekedar untuk menaruh link di buku tamu atau kotak komentar dan pergi. bisa di bayangkan oleh kita saking sibuknya orang tersebut sampai tidak ada waktu buat berlama-lama di blog orang lain. saya bertanya mengapa kamu seperti itu? "sebab waktu bagi saya sangat berharga, saya ga ada waktu untuk membaca habis artikel. sebab masih ada 1000 blog yang mesti saya kunjungi hari ini". 

Dalam kasus selanjutnya ini kita sering menemui beberapa orang yang tidak suka melakukan blogwalking, namun saat berkunjung ke blog orang lain jika artikel itu menarik pasti ia akan baca sampai habis. namun tidak selalu lho orang tersebut meninggalkan komentar di bawah postingan kita. baginya sudah cukup dan merasa puas mendapat wawasan baru. Namun perlu di catat, biasanya orang jenis ini bila ia menuangkan komentar tidak setengah-setengah, bila marah-marah sekalian, bila kagum ia pun akan menyampaikannya dengan bahasa yang luar biasa, dan apabila mengkritik ia pun tidak akan segan-segan. Orang inilah yang sebut pengunjung berkualitas. namun bukan berarti pengunjung yang lian tidak berkualitas, menurut saya sama semuanya berkualitas namun ada kadarnya.

Dalam kasus ini, mungkin kebalikan dari kasus yang pertama, jika yang pertama adalah orang yang gila blogwalking. tapi disini kebalikannya. orang yang pasif (jarang sekali blogwalking). sebagian besar waktu onlinenya dihabiskan untuk menyususun template dan SEO, tittle, dan meta, berburu keyword dll. Mungkin inilah orang yang mengoptimalkan blog nya dengan sebaik mungkin agar dapat menjaring banyak pengunjung dari mesin pencari. karakter orang jenis ini biasanya jendrung pasif dan selalu sibuk dengan urusannya sendiri (tidak semuanya) namun di balik kepasifannya itu memberikan citra yang cerdas, cool dan misterius. 

Bila anda hanya mengandalkan blogwalking saja, apalagi blogwalking ala kadarnya, jangan berharap akan mendapatkan kunjungan dari pemilik blog yang anda kunjungi, pemilik blog pun akan pilih-pilih manakah blog yang akan di kunjungi oleh mereka. blogwalking yang ala kadarnya yang hanya mengharapkan linkback dari pengunjung lain biasanya akan sia-sia saja kecuali anda berkunjung kesebuah blog yang menganut asas yang sama dengan anda.

Bila anda hanya mengandalkan optimasi seo+search engine saja mungkin hasilnya akan maksimal tetapi jaringan relasi dan pergaulan dunia maya anda tidak luas.

Kedua-duanya memiliki efektersendiri terhadap peringkat anda di mesin pencari dan alexa rank tinggal kembali lagi kepada kita, yaitu bagaimana kita membagi keduanya agar seimbang sehingga hasil yang didapat maksimal.

Cara ini yang paling banyak dilakukan oleh blogger pemula seperti saya, karena dengan Blogwalking dan komentar di blog lain bisa menambah backlink dan meningkatkan kunjungan balik ke blog kita. Tentunya dengan meninggalkan komentar yang relevan dan bermanfaat diblog lain biasanya akan mendapatkan kunjungan balik baik dari yang punya blog maupun pengunjung lain.

Membuat Postingan unik. yang berguna dan banyak dicari oleh orang. Postinglah informasi yang bermanfaat agar pengguna internet betah dan akan mengunjungi blog anda tiap hari sehingga traffic harian naik karena konten anda menarik dan banyak dicari orang.

Gunakan Webproxy dan Autoclick. Cara ini sebenarnya tidak direkomendasikan karena dianggap "mencurangi" si alexa. Hack ini yaitu dengan mengunjugi blog kita berulang-ulang melalui web proxy yang akan tercatat oleh alexa sebagai kunjungan dari IP unik karena biasanya webproxy akan memberikan IP baru sehingga seolah-olah akan menambah kunjungan dari IP yang berbeda padahal masih dari 1 komputer atau laptop. Hacking ini digabungkan dengan program autoclick yang akan melakukan click secara otomatis sesuai dengan waktu dan tempat dimana akan diclick. Autoclick bisa dicari digoogle, tapi hati-hati dengan cara ini karena ada yang bilang jika sampai terlacak oleh alexa, blog kita malah akan dilempar ke nilai puluhan juta bahkan unranked atau tidak memiliki rank.

Traffic Exchange. Ini merupakan salah satu yang ampuh menurunkan rank alexa dalam waktu yang tidak lama. Traffic exchange adalah website yang mempertemukan pemilik web atau blog dan melakukan pertukaran kunjungan sehingga saling menguntungkan. Tapi traffic exchange tidak direkomendasikan untuk blog yang memasang GA (google adsense) karena melanggar tos adsense. Web yang populer yaitu easyhit4u karena selain dapat traffic kita juga bisa mendapatkan dolar.

Alexa toolbar. Kalau yang ini saya tidak yakin apakah perlu atau tidak. Menurut beberapa blogger alexa toolbar juga penting untuk tingkatin alexa rank. jadi bisa dicoba juga download dan install alexa toolbar untuk firefox di http://www.alexa.com/toolbar/policy. kalau menurut saya, toolbar ini perlu dipasang karena terbukti blog saya peringkatnya menjadi cepat turun setelah memasang toolbar ini.

Pasang widget alexa di blog. Ini penting untuk mengetahui data alexa lebih akurat. Script atau kode bisa diambil diwebsite alexa.com dan sebaiknya juga sekalian didaftarkan/register blog anda ke alexa. atau juga bisa menggunakan addons alexa.

Cara-cara diatas masih bisa anda tingkatkan, bisa anda baca di buku atau cari di google. Sebenarnya ada cara yang lebih mudah lagi tapi termasuk cara curang, jadi tidak saya beri tahu.
